Project Overview

Engineered MyProtective, a production cross-platform mobile application giving policyholders on-demand access to their insurance portfolios on iOS and Android devices.

Architecture & Role: Mobile Application Architect & Lead Developer building the React Native client, state management pipeline, biometric authentication, and RESTful API integrations with the enterprise core.

Business Problem: Delivered a modern mobile-first digital channel for policyholders, increasing customer retention and reducing physical branch dependency.
Digital Policy Portfolio: Real-time policy summaries, premium schedules, maturity date tracking, and bonus accumulation reports.
Digital Premium Collection: Integrated mobile financial service (MFS) payment gateways allowing policyholders to pay premiums securely.
Self-Service Claims Submission: Document upload interface for initiating claims with instant progress tracking from submission to settlement.
Advisor Network & Support: Direct contact directory connecting policyholders with regional servicing agents and corporate customer support.
Business Impact: Increased on-time premium payment rates through push notification reminders and streamlined policyholder claim submission times.
